GARIKULA

The summer house of Bolgarski. Built in 90- es of nineteenth c. Located in the middle of courtyard. Building material: bricks and stones from riverbed. One-storey household economy and agricultural buildings located to the South-East of the house. The entrance is from the open balcony of the house's main North facade.

Original assimetric facade has a protruding shape of staircase tower from the Eastern side, which is adjoined by the two-storey open-balcony building from the West.

The hall is divided in two parts by an arch on two pilasters; a four-flight staircase leading to the upper floor is located in the hall's Eastern side.

Both floors of summer house are similarly planned. To the South of the hall there is a small room with a chimney. There is a small room to the south of the staircase as well. Each of the three rooms on the first floor have a place for cupboard in the wall. Walls on the second floor are thinner, which yields more space to the rooms, accordingly. On second floor, the sideboard is only found in the room where is a chimney. There is only a single small room and the last flight of staircase on the third floor. On this floor another staircase with balcony starts from the outside, supported by wooden consoles, and covered with tin plates. Fourth floor belvedere is covered by a pyramid-shaped roof suspended on 12 posts. The elongated two-storey side of the building is covered with tiling. The basement is located on the West, under the big hall and a balcony.
The building's edges as well as whole basement facade is constructed using the squared sandstone. The distinctive Northern facade with a towered ballustrade, tent-shaped belvedere and wooden rail-posts makes it a quite remembering experience. The balcony on the western facade is significantly changed. In 20th c. an accidental structure elongating the overal plan of the building was added to summer house from the East. One-storey housekeeping buildings are found to the South-East of the main structure, but their facade is changed with latter additions.
